We’re just one week away from SiriusDecisions Summit 2016! Next Tuesday, 2500 B2B sales and marketing leaders will infiltrate Nashville for four action-packed days of educational sessions, new research findings and emerging trends, networking opportunities…and probably some BBQ. The Summit’s theme this year is “The Art and Science of Intelligent Growth,” and promises to help B2B organizations operationalize growth strategies that align to business goals. Seismic is a Titanium Sponsor of the Summit, and it’s safe to say we’re very excited to experience everything that Nashville and SiriusDecisions have to offer. Here are a few of our favorite items on the agenda:
Nashville is all about delectable, southern comfort cuisine like hot chicken and barbecue, so who better to deliver the Summit’s keynote speech than Alton Brown? If you’re a Food Network fanatic like me, you know Alton from cooking shows like Iron Chef and Cutthroat Kitchen—and know that his scientific approach to culinary exploration makes him the perfect person to introduce the “Art and Science of Intelligent Growth” theme. Brown has written a number of cooking-inspired books, and his newest EveryDayCook will be released in September. You won’t want to miss Brown’s keynote if you appreciate the relationship between food, science and humor. In the meantime, you can get inspired by his incredible recipes.
There is no shortage of insightful sessions with industry experts at this year’s Summit—the only issue is that it’s impossible to attend them all. Here are some of our favorites:
- Solving the Content ROI Conundrum – Ross Graber
It’s true that content is the foundation for marketing success, but few organizations are able to fully optimize content creation and track its effectiveness throughout the entire sales process. This session will help marketing and sales enablement leaders create a roadmap for achieving better content performance and rationalize content measurement efforts. Wednesday, May 25 @ 1:30 pm
- Building a Best-in-Class Sales Presentation – Christina McKeon
We’re no strangers to creating the most engaging and personalized sales materials at Seismic. This session, focused on SiriusDecisions’ new Buyer-Centric Sales Presentation Framework, will help sales and marketing leaders understand what buyers want from reps across each stage of the buying process. Wednesday, May 25 @ 2:20 pm - Account-Based Marketing: Taking an Industry Approach – Bob Peterson & Julian Archer
Account-based marketing (ABM) is a growing initiative intended to provide hyper-targeted customer interactions through aligned sales and marketing efforts. This session will help sales leaders understand how to leverage marketing support to sell into accounts effectively, and will teach marketing leaders how to align ABM with go-to-market objectives. Thursday, May 26 @ 1:00 pm
What better way to see the sights of Nashville than a motorized party bike?! Seismic’s motto for this year’s Summit is “Intelligently shifting sales and marketing into high gear,” and we’re taking it to the streets with Sprocket Rocket Party Bikes. These trolley-like electric bikes feature a bartender, fun music and some of the best views Nashville has to offer! Join us Tuesday night (May 24) and hitch a ride at one of our downtown pick-up/drop-off locations.

Seismic will be shifting marketing and sales into high gear in the Sirius Marketplace, too! Join us at booth #216 to chat about sales enablement, pick up some swag, and enter to win an awesome new bicycle. You can increase your chances to win by booking a meeting, or attending the sessions below.
We’ll be hosting four sessions that feature Seismic customers and sales enablement experts, all offering actionable takeaways for sales and marketing leaders about collaboration, alignment, and personalization. Attending one or more sessions will earn you 5 extra entries to win our bike giveaway!
On Wednesday, May 25, you’ll find the Seismic gang at the Country Music Hall of Fame for the 3rd annual Green Tie Gala! SiriusDecisions is closing down Demonbreun Street (right outside the Hall of Fame) for some music from The Downtown Band and Rhett Price, and probably some dancing. Cowboy boots and green attire are encouraged!
The final festivity of the Summit is the Titanium Celebration, hosted by Seismic and other Titanium Sponsors. The celebration will feature three hours of live music, custom cocktails, food and musical fun from Barenaked Ladies and the Matte Gray Band.
It’s going to be a whirlwind of a week, and we can’t wait for it to start. Don’t forget to mark your calendars with all of these fun events—and we’ll see you at booth 216, on a Sprocket Rocket, or in the streets of Nashville!
