What happens when financial services marketers are free from the quarter-end update process? They throw the monkey off their backs. A group of Seismic’s financial services customers gathered in New York recently to mark the demise of their quarterly update problems – and they certainly weren’t mourning.

“We knew there had to be a better way, and we finally found it,” said one senior marketer at a large asset management firm.

“Every three months, my team’s productivity would tail off because we had to grind through this chore,” said a marketing team leader from a major wealth management company. “It’s great to be out from under it. Now we can stay focused on projects that have more potential to drive growth.”

These customers have used the Seismic platform to automate the production of their firms’ quarterly updates necessary for up-to-date marketing collateral.

Before implementing Seismic, these marketers would flip the calendar and start repetitive, manual, and time-consuming quarterly update processes at the end and beginning of every quarter. Marketing teams would collect new data and corporate updates, assemble those elements in various collateral, and then shepherd those pieces through approval and production processes. This process would typically take several weeks to complete, and would force distribution teams to wait for the updated materials they needed to sell more effectively.

Seismic has completely changed this dynamic for customers.

With the Seismic platform, they can now automatically and dynamically generate updated and fully-compliant materials, such as fund factsheets, client reviews, and pitchbooks. With Seismic, asset management and wealth advisory customers have cut production times for their quarterly updates from several weeks down to several days.

To mark their relief from quarterly update headaches, some of Seismic’s top financial services customers met up at New York’s Grand Central Station. Just two weeks into the new quarter, they had already completed their quarterly updates, and celebrated by throwing this proverbial monkey off their backs.
