Twitter Makes The Target Easier To Hit With Tailored Ads

Whether you play darts or you enjoy the sport of archery, the target is always the bull’s eye. Doing everything you can to make sure you nail it is critical to finding success.

This philosophy applies to many aspects of everyday life, but especially marketing. When professionals are trying to market products and services, knowing their target audience is essential to making an impact.

The same goes for social networking, which is why Twitter has rolled out a new way to hit the bull’s eye. Recently, the website announced that now has the power to target advertisements through email addresses and user IDs. It has created a new program titled “Tailored Audiences,” which will allow it to fluidly reach out to Twitter users according to the information they’ve inputted into the site.

Before Twitter launched this effort, advertisers had to rely on browser data to connect with users. This will undoubtedly make the website more attractive to professionals in this industry in the future.

Marketing teams who’ve dreamt of a way to reach out to a specific audience through the social networking site are rejoicing over the move. Perhaps Twitter will inspire others to make a move toward this ingenuity in the future – is it too much to ask for a helping hand?

In the grand scheme of it all, it’s a win-win. Customers see advertisements that specifically pertain to their interests, and the companies behind the ads increase their client base. In the coming months, don’t be surprised to find that the bull’s eye you’re after is easier to hit.
