Seismic Shift 2018 Showcases Sales Enablement’s Rapid Growth across Industries, Regions

More than 500 industry leaders attended Seismic’s fifth annual customer conference

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 15, 2018) – Seismic, the recognized leader in sales and marketing enablement, today announced that more than 500 sales and marketing industry leaders from across the globe attended Seismic Shift 2018, the company’s fifth annual customer conference. Those in attendance included leaders from global enterprises such as Capital One, GE Digital, Glassdoor, Microsoft, and Siemens.

The three day conference, hosted at The Pendry in San Diego from November 7-9, featured 14 speakers sharing success stories from companies including Illumina, Cox Automotive, Brinker Capital, and more. Topics ranged from establishing a culture that fosters sales and marketing alignment and marketing’s leadership role in sales enablement, and with speakers reporting an array of benefits due to the Seismic platform, such as 800 percent gains in efficiency and content inventory reductions nearing 90 percent.

Additional featured speakers included the Seismic Shift 2018 Award Winners and best-selling author and serial entrepreneur Mel Robbins. Robbins focused on themes from her best-selling book, The 5 Second Rule. Initially a widely-praised TEDx Talk with more than 15 million views on YouTube, Robbins’ book has inspired people to quit procrastinating and be more courageous in their quest to change for the better. The book was one of the most read nonfiction books on Amazon and Audible in 2017.

Seismic product tutorials and overviews were also prominently featured, with 21 total hours of product-focused presentations across multiple sessions. Attendees were given the opportunity to engage in introductory tutorials, previews of upcoming product innovations, and breakout sessions on specific functionality within the Seismic platform.
