Overview:
As the Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer, you will be a strategic partner and force multiplier, driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and strategic execution. You will work closely with the leadership team to enhance decision-making, streamline initiatives, and accelerate the company’s growth in a high-scale environment. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational execution, and exceptional communication skills to ensure our Product & Technology organization is operating at peak efficiency.
The Chief Product Officer’s organization includes Product Management, Design, Engineering, Technical Support and Cloud Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the CPO to set and execute strategic priorities, track progress on key initiatives, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and drive processes that improve collaboration and efficiency across Product, Engineering, and Technology teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the Product & Engineering organization and other key business units, ensuring seamless communication and execution of company OKRs.
- Executive Decision Support: Provide research, insights, and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making at the executive level. Coordinate the strategic planning, budgeting, capacity planning, financial analysis and allocations processes across all product, engineering and operations areas
- Leadership & Culture Building: Act as a key voice in fostering an innovative, high-performance, and inclusive culture within the Product & Engineering teams.
- Meeting & Communications Management: Own and manage leadership team meetings, including agenda setting, action tracking, and follow-ups. Drive content for Board decks, leadership offsites, Product Advisory Council meetings, Key customer engagements and All Hands meetings
- Special Projects: Lead and support critical, high-impact initiatives that contribute to the company’s growth and scalability.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define and track KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement across the Product & Engineering organization.
What you bring to the team:
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or leadership roles within a high-growth SaaS, technology, or enterprise software company.
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence at an executive level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence; ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Experience in managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of product development, engineering processes, and SaaS business models.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
