Who you are:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing frontend solutions that enhance user experiences for Seismic AI applications, including content discovery, knowledge management, learning and coaching, meeting intelligence and various AI capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional value to our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain frontend solutions for AI applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. 
  • User Interface Development: Implement and optimize user interfaces for AI-driven applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. 
  • Integration: Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and backend engineers to integrate AI-driven capabilities into the Seismic platform. 
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize front-end performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring fast, responsive applications. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including product managers, designers, and UX experts, to deliver seamless and intuitive AI-driven experiences. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies, conducting research and experimentation to drive innovation. 

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of building and scaling web applications. 
  • Technical Expertise: Highly accomplished Frontend Engineer with extensive expertise in modern frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Driving enhanced application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing robust automated tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Cypress, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable codebases. Deeply knowledgeable in web accessibility standards (WCAG) with practical experience in designing and implementing accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Skilled in leveraging AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot to streamline development workflows, boost productivity, and accelerate delivery timelines. Passionate about crafting seamless, intuitive user experiences while adhering to industry best practices and maintaining a strong focus on code quality and performance optimization. 
  • AI and Data Science Basic Knowledge: Experience in integrating AI-driven features into frontend applications, or basic understanding of AI and data science concepts is a big plus. 
  • Design Skills: Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. 
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS. Knowledge of deploying frontend applications to cloud environments is a plus. 
  • Product Development: Experience in collaborating with product management and design teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive successful delivery. Proven record of driving feature development from concept to launch. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Fast-paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
