As a Product Manager for Knowledge Product at Seismic, you will be instrumental in enhancing our knowledge management features, focusing on developing advanced AI capabilities aligned with the strategic initiatives of Seismic Aura Copilot. Knowledge is a core product, horizontally integrated across various components of the Seismic platform, including search and content discovery areas. Your role will involve close collaboration with multiple teams to ensure seamless integration across different product facets, intents, and use cases, effectively addressing diverse knowledge discovery and management needs as well as bridging knowledge gaps. 

This individual contributor position places you at the crossroads of technology and user experience. You will actively contribute to a dynamic and competitive AI knowledge management product roadmap. Staying current with the latest trends and technologies in AI-driven knowledge management, you will work alongside our data science, engineering, product design, and go-to-market teams to develop innovative solutions that meet and exceed user expectations. 

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, data science, and engineering team members to execute an ambitious knowledge roadmap, focusing on the seamless integration with content management systems and AI-driven tools. 
  • Refine the roadmap for knowledge management by incorporating learnings and insights from customers and market trends, ensuring we remain differentiated in the enablement space. Enhance content strategies to improve organization, findability, and usability of information, aligning with user needs and behaviors. 
  • Partner with our AI/ML and search teams to better understand user intent and translate questions into relevant results. Continuously learn from user behavior to improve accessibility of knowledge and develop recommendations to reduce context switching for users. Integrate content management practices to ensure that content remains accurate, up-to-date, and effectively categorized for optimal user experiences. 

 

Who you are:

  • Academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field 
  • 1-2 years of Product Management experience or relevant internships, ideally in a tech or SaaS organization. 
  • Interest in solving knowledge management problems and an understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and trade-offs involved. 
  • A willingness to tackle new challenges and think outside the box while supporting a bleeding-edge product within our platform. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and contribute to a team-focused environment. 
  • Some familiarity with modern SaaS technologies and platforms is beneficial. 
  • Interest in content management, search systems, including relevance & ranking, algorithms, personalization, natural language processing, and data models. 
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams including engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and services to support a world-class customer experience. 
  • Incorporate usability studies, research, and market/competitive analysis into product requirements to assist senior team members. 
  • Willingness to work with remote teams and, as needed, adjust hours to collaborate across time zones.

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range. ​​

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will vary and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.

$78,600$135,600 USD
