Overview:

The Senior Sitecore Backend Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing backend solutions for Sitecore-powered digital platforms. This position focuses on building scalable, high-performance systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences. As a senior member of the team, you will take the lead in complex Sitecore projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, accessibility guidelines, security, and architectural guidelines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and customize Sitecore solutions leveraging Helix architecture principles for modularity and maintainability.
  • Secure website from threats, DDoS attacks and blocking bad traffic.
  • Optimize backend performance, ensuring fast response times and scalability.
  • Handle backend integrations for Sitecore Content Hub, Personalization, Search, and Analytics platforms.
  • Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to align backend functionality with business requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team
  • Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and comply with accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.0 Level AA through code reviews
  • Maintain and document reusable code and backend components.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset and leadership abilities to guide the development team.

What you bring to the team:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sitecore development. And Sitecore Certified Professional Developer
  • Extensive programming skills in C# framework.
  • Expert in Sitecore versions 9.x and above (Sitecore XM Cloud).
  • Deep knowledge in APIs, including REST, GraphQL.
  • Strong Knowledge of hosting Sitecore solutions on Vercel.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server for Sitecore data storage.
  • Strong knowledge in CI/CD tools – GitHub.
  • A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and resourcefulness to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
