Learning Engineering Group, formerly Lessonly, is a cloud-based learning management system that is now part of Seismic, the global leader in enablement. What you’ll be doing:

• Help lead a US based engineering team while collaborating and driving technical and architectural decisions

• Collaborate with  product managers, designers, and software engineers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code to create innovative solutions and add values to our customers’ experience with Seismic.

• Explore new technologies and industry trends and bring your findings to life in our products.

• Participate in and contribute towards code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation.

• Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous quality improvements.

What you bring to the team:

8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails (RoR) or related language.

• Proficiency in modern web development technologies, including JavaScript, React)

• Strong knowledge of SQL  databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices in web applications.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Leadership & Management Qualifications:

3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, managing projects, and mentoring developers.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in sprint planning.

• Experience in performance management, and career development for engineers.

• Effective cross-functional communication with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data.

The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

Seismic’s salary range for this position is: $137,400 USD$237,100 USD

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary.

The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
