We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Implementation Engineer to join the Solutions Architecture team within Global Services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data automation solutions using Seismic’s LiveDoc technology, designing and building integration solutions using Seismic’s APIs, and assisting customers with their SSO and SMTP configuration.
You will work closely with customers, project managers, solution consultants and offshore teams as needed to deliver seamless automations and integrations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Review and analyze customer content and data to design optimal data automation approach utilizing SQL or similar query languages.
- Write database queries to extract information from various database types.
- Design technical approaches for client automation needs that leverage dynamic data.
- Understand and develop best practices and scalable design.
- Design and create integration solutions for complex client integration needs connecting external systems using Seismic’s API and UI integration points.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with customers to understand business needs, technical requirements, and integration objectives.
- Translate findings into detailed solution design, architecture, and data flow documents.
- Develop a strong understanding of Seismic’s API and integration capabilities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the out-of-the-box solution offerings and implement them on customer tenants.
- Configure SSO and SMTP settings and develop a strong understanding of the various user management and email options.
- Lead multiple projects while working collaboratively with Solution Consultants and coordinating offshore resources to ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify project risks and resolve or escalate accordingly.
- Provide support and ongoing services for existing customers in accordance with SLAs.
- Assist with conducting on-site and virtual training for customers as necessary.
- Help lead, mentor, and train junior level team members.
- Promote product enhancement requests to management and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer feature and enhancement requests are documented.
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent experience
- Two years of experience in the capacity of Implementation Engineer 2 (or equivalent)
- Four or more years of experience with Enterprise Content Professional Services
- Above average knowledge or RESTful API
- Above average knowledge of SQL, Web Service Consumption, SOQL, and Salesforce Reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Excel Modeling
- Expert knowledge of SSO, SMTP, and Salesforce Setup
- Experience with Seismic or other Sales Enablement platform is a plus
- Ability to lead projects containing off-shore resources/teams
- Have led requirements gathering efforts on projects
- Ability to identify project risks
- Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to initiate and manage relationships with customers of all levels
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capability
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data.
The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.
Seismic’s salary range for this position is: $93,000 USD – $160,500 USD
This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary.
The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
