Award marks second consecutive year in which the company has been recognized by the publication for its employees and culture
San Diego, CA – August 16, 2016 – Seismic, the leading end-to-end sales enablement solution, today announced that they have been named a Best Place to Work by the San Diego Business Journal for the second consecutive year. The company ranked second out of 28 San Diego-based finalist companies in the “medium” sized business (50-249 employees) category.
“We are honored to have once again been named a best place to work by the San Diego Business Journal,” said Doug Winter, Seismic CEO and co-founder. “Our commitment to our employees is that every day they can come to an office and work with a forward-looking and innovative product, great customers, and engaged and talented colleagues. This award reflects that commitment.”
The rankings were determined by employee surveys and an evaluation of participating companies’ employee benefits and career development opportunities, volunteer efforts, and green initiatives. Seismic moved into the “medium” sized business category in 2016 after experiencing 120 percent growth for the third year in a row in 2015, a number that the company is on pace to match in 2016, considering the second quarter was one of Seismic’s most successful quarters in company history. In May, Seismic secured $40 million in funding led by General Atlantic, and the company’s Boston office was also recently named a Best Place to Work by the Boston Business Journal.
Seismic’s enterprise-grade sales enablement solution is currently serving more than 200 customers worldwide, more than half of which have annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. In addition to the award-winning culture, a large part of the company’s success can be attributed to the quantifiable success the solution generates for customers by delivering the right sales content at the right time, improving sales efficiency and marketing effectiveness. After extensive interviews with four Seismic customers, “The Total Economic Impact™ Of The Seismic Sales Enablement Platform,” a May 2016 commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Seismic, found a 578 percent return on investment for organizations deploying the company’s leading sales enablement solution.
“One of the main benefits of working at Seismic is that employees get to work on a product that makes a real and tangible difference for large companies looking to better align sales and marketing efforts,” said Winter. “As the leader in the sales enablement space, we strive to ensure that our product remains unmatched by the rest of the market, and that leadership position is primarily founded on the efforts of our employees.”
Seismic is currently hiring in their San Diego office for a host of positions, including:
- DevOps Engineer
