San Diego, Calif., August 27, 2013. Seismic, the only platform that enables LiveDoc creation for brand-approved, real-time enterprise content management, today announced it has become a Salesforce ISVforce partner and released its Seismic for Salesforce app, available from the AppExchange. The new app, which integrates deeply with Salesforce data and content services, enables marketers, sales reps, and account managers, to generate complex reports and collateral, such as presentations and videos, using information from Salesforce.
Seismic’s platform enables the creation of LiveDocs for marketing and sales teams to create, maintain and generate customized, compliant materials on demand, on any device.
“Deepening our relationship with Salesforce is an important milestone for Seismic and releasing our Seismic for Salesforce app is a key development for many of our customers who rely on Salesforce.com daily to track and manage crucial sales data,” said Doug Winter, CEO and co-founder, Seismic. “We are making it quick and easy for customers to create reports and charts from within Salesforce in an entirely new way, and leverage information about customers and prospects that can help them expand relationships and close deals,” said Winter.
How Seismic for Salesforce Works
Built on the Salesforce Platform, the world’s leading cloud platform for social and mobile business apps, Seismic for Salesforce enables marketers to manage branded and approved marketing and sales materials – presentations, documents, PDFs, diagrams, images, videos, etc., in a cloud-based library that provides versioning, semantic tagging, categorization, permissions, search, and filtering. The templates can also be tracked to ensure correct usage and adoption throughout the organization. Users can share comments and offer feedback on the materials.
Sales representatives and account managers access these templates via an app on their desktop or tablet. This enables them to quickly create customized content for meetings and account reviews that contain the latest data from Salesforce and other sources, such as financial market data, corporate data or public web services.
“The future of enterprise apps is social, mobile and connected,” said Leyla Seka, vice president AppExchange and Partner Operations, salesforce.com. “Seismic is helping to drive its customers’ success by harnessing the power of social and mobile cloud technologies to ensure that the right content, complete with live, up-to-the-minute data, is always presented at the right time,” said Seka.
